MSEA Conference - Excerpt from Network News October 2005
Gratitude is extended to the MSEA Board President, Dotty McCrea, Melissa Bullock, Regina Ward, RSM, Cindi Baughman, Patty Moriarty, RSM and Carolyn Witte, and to the faculty, staff and administration of Mercy Academy and Assumption High School, Louisville, KY, for their hard work in planning MSEA Conference XXIV and for their gracious hospitality. “My Old Kentucky Home” will long be remembered in its presentation and as a special place for Mercy.
Over 300 educators and members of regional community leadership heard Sister Mary Waskowiak, RSM, President of the Institute of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, challenge all gathered in her keynote address, “Finding Our Voice.”
Using technology to share this voice and collaborate with one another was explored on the second day of the conference.
Congratulations to Cindi Baughman elected as President-Elect, and to Laura Held elected to a first term, and to Melissa Bullock and Sister Regina Ward, RSM, elected to a second term.
In service to MSEA, the Proceedings of Conference XXIV and pictures are in the process of being posted at the Network website. Items addressed at the business meeting will be included.
