The fourth Annual
Sponsorship Academy
was held April
13-14, 2008 in St. Louis.
Overview of the 2008 Academy
Purpose:
Education and formation for persons who could serve on Sponsorship
Councils for Mercy sponsored secondary and elementary education - an
emerging role for shared ministry with the Sisters of Mercy and for the
Church.
Participants:
persons are invited by community leadership. A profile of the persons:
persons with board experience; experience in Mercy education and
commitment to this ministry; Sisters of Mercy and lay co-ministers.
A list of qualifications has been gathered from a variety of

The Sponsorship Academy
is an annual gathering held by the Network for Mercy Education.
